ABOUT
Özge Sade Mete received her doctoral degree in 2012 from the College of Built Environments at the University of Washington. She holds an MS in History of Architecture and a BA in Architecture, both earned from Istanbul Technical University. Özge received research awards from Koç University’s Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations (2009–2010) and SALT (2013–2014). She published articles in refereed journals such as International Journal of Islamic Architecture (IJIA) and New Perspectives on Turkey and presented her work in conferences including the Society of Architectural Historians (SAH) and International Association for the Study of Traditional Environments (IASTE) and Middle East Studies Association (MESA). She teaches history and theory classes and design studios in the Department of Interior Design at Bellevue College.
