I am a Ph.D. candidate at City University of New York, the Graduate Center, in linguistic and cultural anthropology. After conducting 18-months of fieldwork in Oran, Algeria between 2018-2020, I am currently writing my dissertation on contested urbanism, semiotics, place-making, and the aftermaths of revolution.
