ABOUT
PhD, OPI tester, Al Akhawayn University, Ifrane a Meriem Sahli is an assistant professor of Arabic language and literature within the school of Humanities and Social Sciences at Al Akhawayn University. She obtained her Master degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Lancaster University and her PhD from the University of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah in Fes. She is an applied linguist, and her main research interests include education, teaching and learning Arabic in the Study Abroad context, Arabic curriculum design and development, immigrant children and Arabic language learning, use of technology, Arabic language program evaluation, and digital literacy in the Moroccan school. Her publications focus on education in Morocco, use of ICT in the Moroccan school, and teaching and learning Arabic. She regularly offers teacher-training workshops for university-level teachers. She taught in Europe and the US.
