ABOUT
Mohammad Ayish's academic experience includes over 30 years of teaching and administration at universities in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates. Before joining AUS in Fall 2012, he had served as Dean of the College of Communication at the University of Sharjah and had worked as an advisor for the UAE National Media Council. His research interests include satellite broadcasting, digital communications, social media, media ethics, mobile journalism and digital diplomacy. His most recent scholarly work has been co-authored with Abeer Najjar: Arab Millennials’ Articulation of Identity in Cyberspace: A study of three MENA YouTubers, Arab Social Media and Society, June 2019.
