Said ENNAHID, (Ph.D., Anthropological Archaeology, Arizona State University), Associate Professor at al-Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco. Ennahid’s research interests include Islamic archaeology, art, architecture, and urbanism, and French Colonial-Period architecture and urbanism in Morocco. His most recent publication includes a contribution to Oxford Handbook of African Archaeology on “States, trade, and ethnicities in the Maghreb.”
