ABOUT
Dr. Ihsan Alkhatib is an associate professor at Murray State University's Department of Political Science and Sociology. He teaches international law, business law, Middle East politics, and business ethics. He is also a volunteer attorney and advisory board member for American-Arab anti-discrimination Committee (ADC) and a columnist for the Arab American newspapers The Independent Monitor and the Forum and Link.
Dr. Alkhatib taught political science as an adjunct professor at a number of colleges while practicing law for 10 years in the Greater Detroit area representing mainly Arab American clientele.
Dr. Alkhatib’s research interests are Islamic political movements and Arab/Muslim Americans.
