ABOUT
Mona Khneisser is a PhD student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She graduate with an MA in Sociology from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and have worked as an Instructor and Researcher at the Sociology Department, the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy & International Affairs & the Asfari Institute for Civil Society & Citizenship at AUB, Lebanon. Her research interests are mainly centered on the Arab world and in the fields of social movements studies, sectarianism, and political economy.
