ABOUT
Anne-Linda Amira Augustin is a research coordinator at the University of Leipzig. She coordinates a project on racism in German state institutions. She is the author of "South Yemen’s Independence Struggle: Generations of Resistance" (2021). Her research interests include the protest culture and resistance of South Yemen's Southern Movement and the Southern Transitional Council, as well as colonialism, nationalism, and (anti-)racism. She is also a non-resident scholar at the Middle East Institute in Washington, DC.
