ABOUT
Matthew Kuiper's scholarship is focused on classical and modern Islam, the Qur'an, inter-religious relations, and S. Asian history. He has traveled extensively throughout the Muslim world. He is fascinated by the ways religions interact and shape one another, along with the ways they respond to the changes and challenges of modernity. At present, Kuiper is Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies at Missouri State University.
