Elianne is a Lebanese-Canadian PhD student at the University of Waterloo researching about the creation of political identities in Palestinian youth subcultures in both Israel and the Occupied Territories. Elianne also loves to read and write about history and culture, plays the saxophone and ukulele, eats a lot of pizza, and is learning to shuffle.
