ABOUT
I am an Anthropologist, and I received my PhD in 2019. Currently, I am a Lecturer at Chapman University in Orange, CA. My research interests lie within realms of storytelling and around storytellers. My current project is a cultural history project on the circulation and interactions of storytellers from Morocco in the greater North Africa, Middle East, and Europe as they traveled to bring news back to Morocco. My previous research looked at revival movements within Moroccan storytelling as they were enacted by youth performers.
