ABOUT
Abdulla Al-Etaibi is a PhD candidate in the Centre for Arab & Islamic Studies (CAIS) at the Australian National University (ANU). His PhD focuses on the effect of tribal identity on the foreign policy conduct in the Gulf region. His research interests include Foreign Policy Analysis (FPA), identity-politics relation in the Gulf region and security studies. Prior to his PhD, Abdulla undertook his Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in International Affairs (International Security & Diplomacy) at Qatar University (QU), and his Master’s degree (MSc) in International Public Policy at the University College London (UCL). He then joined QU in 2017 as a faculty member for 2 years teaching courses for undergraduate students.
