ABOUT
Dr. Artemis Papatheodorou is an Ottomanist historian specialising in cultural history. She is currently post-doctoral research fellow at ANAMED Research Centre, KoƧ University in Istanbul (Turkey). She has a PhD in Oriental Studies from the University of Oxford. Artemis previously taught as Adjunct Lecturer in Ottoman and Modern Turkish History at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences (Athens, Greece) and as Visiting Assistant Professor in History at the American University of Sharjah (United Arab Emirates). Her research interests focus on the history of Ottoman archaeology.
