ABOUT
Alison Terndrup (she/her) is a Post Graduate Teaching Fellow in Visual Studies at Northeastern University. She has served as a research fellow and course instructor at Boston University.
Her research spans the fields of Islamic and nineteenth-century art histories, focusing on the topics of Ottoman imperial and sub-imperial identities, cross-cultural encounters, and the use of visual arts in supporting ideologies of power. Terndrup is the recipient of multiple travel grants to Turkey, Serbia, and Romania.
