ABOUT
Ziad Dallal is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Arabic at Bard College. His areas of research/interest include nineteenth-century and contemporary Arabic literature and intellectual history, critical theory, translation theory, political philosophy, philology, Marxism and finance, and film theory. He has also written about contemporary Arabic theater and contemporary music in Lebanon and served as lead translator and adviser on This Is Home: A Refugee Story, a 2017 Sundance Film Festival Audience Award winner for world cinema documentary.
