Lillian Frost is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). She specializes in citizenship, migration, and gender issues in the Arab World, particularly in Jordan. Her research has received support from the European University Institute's Max Weber Programme, United States Institute of Peace and the Minerva Research Initiative, Harvard Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, Fulbright Program, Council of American Overseas Research Centers, Project on Middle East Political Science, Boston Consortium for Arab Region Studies, and the George Washington University Institute for Middle East Studies.
