ABOUT
Samia Errazzouki is currently a PhD student in history at the University of California, Davis, where her research focuses on early modern Moroccan history. Samia is also a co-editor with Jadaliyya. Prior to joining UC Davis, Samia worked as a Rabat-based journalist with Reuters, and before that, she reported for the Associated Press and Voice of America. Upon graduating from Georgetown University with an MA in Arab Studies in 2015, Samia worked as a research associate with the University of Cambridge. Her work has been published in the Journal of North African Studies, Washington Post, Carnegie Endowment's Sada Journal, Middle East Institute, Mediterranean Politics, Guardian, and Al Jazeera, among others.
