ABOUT
Hajar Mahfoodh is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Literature at the University of Surrey, where she is writing on exile and home in modern Arab poetry. As a fully-funded Fulbright Scholar, she attained her MA from Bowling Green State University. Hajar is interested in modern literature, creative writing, and postcolonial theory. Her passionate relationship with arts and poetry is expressed through her experimental poetry.
