ABOUT
Dr. Barnwell received her Ph.D. in history from The University of Texas at Austin in 2011. She is an Associate Professor of history at The University of Illinois, Springfield where she teaches courses in history methods and history of the Modern Middle East. Her research focuses on 20th British-Arab relations in the Arab states of the Persian Gulf.
