Dr. Ibtisam M. Abujad is a Muslim and Palestinian academic and poet, who conducts research on decoloniality and settler-colonialism, critical race and ethnic studies, women’s studies, transnational American Studies and the global politics and economics of empire, and Critical Muslim Studies. She is Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Harper College in Illinois, in the United States.
