Muhammad Masud is Assistant Professor of Arabic Studies at the University of Massachusetts Boston where he is also Director of the Arabic Studies Program. Masud’s research examines modern Arabic literature, culture and politics, with specific focus on refugee studies, Arab authoritarianism, and contemporary radical movements.
