ABOUT
Shoshana Madmoni-Gerber in an Associate Professor of Communication and Journalism at Suffolk University in Boston. Shoshana has a PhD in Communication from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst; her research interests include the media’s role in shaping the sphere of public discourse, social and political conflicts, and race and representation in the media. Shoshana worked as a journalist in Israel during the 1990s for several newspapers and for the investigative show Uvda. Her book, Israeli Media and the Framing of Internal Conflict: The Yemenite Babies Affair (2009/2014) was published by Palgrave Macmillan: New York
