Special Session Description
Although numerous critical issues are simmering in the Middle East at the present time, the fall of several dictators and the continuing uprisings against others constitute the most momentous development in the recent history of the region. This panel will address the topic broadly in terms of questions such as gender, culture, history, politics, and representation, along with insights into particular societies.
